BioSport® was developed to yield a high quality cell-free product. This method extracts the membrane from the placental tissue, leaving only the amniotic membrane layer which is then processed into an acellular injectable product. This is a tightly controlled aseptic procedure regulated under Section 361 of the Public Health Service Act. BioSport®’s proprietary process retains beneficial components of the amniotic membrane and generates a sterile allograft that is ready-to-use.
